Web Client Software (Plug-in)  
In order to use the Online Ordering System, you are required to download and install the Web Client Software. This Software is provided free of charge. Links to download the software are available on the main web page.

From our Default Web Page, you will see a button to "DOWNLOAD NOW". Select this button, then select the operating system you are using.

Once you have selected your Operating System, you will need to download and install the appropriate version of our Web Client Software to match the Internet Browser you are using

Click on your Browser name and version to download the appropriate software for your system.

From the Software Download Page

1. Select your Operating System

2. Select your Browser and Version number

3. Click on the Browser and Version number name to download the appropriate software.

4. Once the download begins, you will be prompted as to whether you want to OPEN or SAVE the file. Choose OPEN so the setup runs automatically. If you need to SAVE the file, save the file to a folder where you will be able to find it after it downloads. You will then need to open the file and run the setup utility

5. All Software must be installed on the "C:" or local root drive. (Your main hard drive)

Initiating the download & Installing the WebClient  
*Select "OK" for "Do Not Overwrite" window appears

*Select "No" for "WinZip Self-Extractor" window with prompt to "Overwrite file?"

*Follow instructions to close all internet explorer windows *Upon successfully closing all internet explorers windows, re-open your internet explorer, go to www.sanmar.com, select online ordering and log-in.

1. Click the Web Client for Internet Explorer and Netscape. A dialog box will appear asking you where to save the Installer.

2. Save the Installer to your desktop and wait for the file to download completely.

3. Unstuff the file. If you do not have Stuffit Expander you can download Stuffit Expander for free from Alladdin Systems

The unstuffed folder will appear as Online Ordering Software on your desktop.

4. Move all the files in the Online Ordering Software folder to either your Internet Explorer or Netscape plug-ins folder located within the HD.

Path: HD: Applications: Internet: Internet Explorer or Netscape Folder: Plug-Ins (exact location may differ)

5. Launch Internet Explorer or Netscape. Note: If you previously had Internet Explorer or Netscape open prior to the installation, please close and then re-open your web browser for the changes to take effect.

If the Customer Logon page opens but hangs-up you will need to make the following changes to your browser settings:

Close your browser (Apple-Q) Find and select/highlight your browser application in your HD Press Apple-I (make sure your browser is closed. You will not be able to edit the following settings if your browser is still open)

Select Memory for Show: in the drop-down menu In Memory Requirements set:
Min 10000
Preferred 20000
